What patients say

Two women laugh together on a wooden bench in a sunny waiting room with a potted palm, one holding a paper cup of tea
  • Dr. Ekwueme explained what she found before she touched my neck, and she wrote down the two stretches so I would not forget them. In and out in half an hour.

    Sample review

  • I was nervous about a chiropractor while pregnant. The table had a cushion for my belly, nobody rushed me, and she sent a note to my midwife.

    Sample review

  • My son plays travel soccer. Dr. Solberg watched him run, showed him a warm up, and explained each step to both of us.

Meet Dr. Simone Ekwueme

I want you to leave knowing what I found, what we are doing about it, and when you will not need me anymore.

Dr. Ekwueme opened Saltmeadow in 2014 to care for whole families in one place. Every patient goes home with a plan they can do on their own.

Meet the whole team

How we work

  • Follow-up visits of about thirty minutes

Each one covers a check, the adjustment, and time to learn the stretch you do at home.

  • X-rays only when they change the plan

We examine you first. If something points to a fracture or another structural problem, we refer you for imaging.

  • Nothing to prepay

Pay per visit or join the monthly plan, and stop whenever you like. We tell you when you reach your goal.

  • We tell you when it is not for us

Some pain needs a physician, a physical therapist or a scan first. We say so on the first day and refer you.

How a first visit works

A clipboard with a blank sheet and a pen on a white oak front desk beside a small plant in a glass.
  1. Call the front desk

Call (941) 555-0147. Pilar books the visit, checks your insurance, and texts you the intake form.

  2. History and exam

We ask about the problem and your health, then check how you move, your strength and your reflexes.

  3. A plan in writing

What we found, what we suggest, how many visits we expect, and the cost, before any care starts.

  4. First treatment and home plan

If you agree, your first treatment happens the same day, with two or three exercises for home.

Plans we work with: Florida Blue, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare.

Questions patients ask

Does an adjustment hurt?

Most patients feel pressure and sometimes a pop. Some feel sore for a day. Serious problems, such as a stroke after neck adjustment, are very rare. Ask us about them at your first visit. We can also use a gentler instrument or drop table.

Will I have to keep coming forever?

No. We set a goal at your first visit and tell you when you reach it. A later tune up is your choice, never a contract.

Can you see my kids?

Yes, school age children and teens, with a parent in the room. See kids and teens for what we do and do not treat.

Do I need a referral?

Not to book with us. Some insurance plans ask for one, so we check your plan before the first visit.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in, such as leggings or shorts and a t-shirt. Skip belts and big jewelry.
